Was "Visions" re-recorded for the "Eroica" 2CD Album? I tried to hunt this info down (including searching here) but it appears my google skills are not up to the task, so thanks in advance for the info.
I read on a blog that the song "Visions", the instrumental piano piece performed by Lisa Coleman from "Dream Factory," was re-recorded and released on the 3" CD issued with some copies of Wendy & Lisa's "Eroica" album. I found the track list for that CD: 1. Minneapolis #1 2. Minneapolis #2 3. Eric's Ghost 4. C-Ya Assuming the blog is correct, it appears the song was re-titled. For those that have heard it, has this re-recorded version of "Visions" changed in any way from the version on "Dream Factory"? And which track is it on the above track list? Many thanks! It's almost like there is an "event horizon" for stupidity - once you fall below that line, you're too stupid to know you're stupid.

Thanks for looking and let me know if your ears pick up anything "Visions" like. I like her playing so that sounds like a nice little additon to the package.
I found a few places that have the 2CD set @ a reasonable price, so I planned on picking it up eventually. Fortunatly I found out about that 3" CD before I bought the "standard" edition (and thank god I still have a 3" CD adapter). I missed their CDs in the 80s, so it's a nice treat to "discover" their early output for the first time. Visions is the same as Minneapolis #1. I just compared the two and it sounds like the same recording, but obviously the Eroica track is better quality. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

Outstanding news! Many thanks for confirming that. Off to snap up that 2CD set! It's almost like there is an "event horizon" for stupidity - once you fall below that line, you're too stupid to know you're stupid.
