Rather than best, favorite: Dearmichaelangelo (love Prince's guitar on that one)

Least fav: Faded Photographs (Don't know why but I always think of "Danger Zone" by Kenny Loggins when I hear it)

For those who mentioned "Love On A Blue Train"...

JEROME...UPSIDE YO HEAD! MAZARATI...UPSIDE YO HEAD!!

It sounds a lot like Pat Benatar's 'Love Is A Battlefield' too.

I love the track order on the third album - Hold Me into Faded Photographs is brilliant.

I'm not crazy about some of the stuff on the 3 post-Prince records, but the 3 P-era albums are all brilliant.

Besides the obvious...

FAVES:
Oliver's House
Boys Club
Funky Attitude (soundtrack version)
Alice Through The Looking Glass

LEAST FAVES: Most of the stuff on the Writes Of Passage and Heaven CDs.

Where is Alice through the looking glass from?? I heard her do it live but can't find it anywhere. Is it an original?

Someone told me it is a Labelle out-take but I'm not positive.

"Faded Photographs" is my favorite Sheila E. song lol It's a shame that it wasn't released as a single. It has a strong chorus and a great pop/rock arrangement. In 1987,the MTV crowd would have loved this. And you're right,it does have a Pat Benatar feel to it.

I gotta agree....her cover version of "Lady Marmalade" falls flat. That's one of those classic songs that really shouldn't be covered by anybody.

Agree. It`s my favorite Sheila song. Love the video with Cat & P`s backing vocals!! Love Bizarre & Erotic City would be in my all time P top ten but being duets I consider them more P tracks.
Worst song has to be Toy Box. When she performed that shit live she made a total arse of herself!

Best- The Glamorous Life
Worst- The MESS of a song she did for Gone Country

Love me some Sheila one of the best musicians..but songwriter?? Not so much!
Prince may be the purple Yoda, but Wendy & Lisa and Eric Leeds also sit on the Jedi Council.
