I was in MPLS (visiting folks) and we were eating brunch at a BBQ joint called famous Dave’s in Uptown. Someone in my group mentioned a dude came in with funny hair or a funny hat. A few mins later I noticed it was Sonny T. I told everyone who he was, but no one believed me. About 30 mins later the singer on stage (it was a live band) talked about Sonny and invited him up on stage. As I was leaving he was up there playing a couple songs and he talked about Prince for a quick minute (because the singer brought it up). Just mentioned he was in his band for 7 years.
