Just a quick update and to let you all know that Johns debut cd '4EverJia' will be released sometime between mid to late January 2010.

The cd will feature collaborations with Charlie Singleton and Esperanza Spaulding and if what I have heard is a taste of what is to come then it really is going to be excellent.

The cd, once released, will be available for purchase through CD Baby (www.cdbaby.com) and Itunes, so wherever you are in the world you will be able to purchase the cd without a problem. (overseas distribution of the cd is in the pipeline as well).

More news and an exact release date as soon as I have the info.

Last nite I was blessed with the opportunity to be John's 3rd listener of his Debut CD. Absolutely beautiful. To all the Jazz/funk/Rb/ lovers your in for a treat. My favs since demo taste are Jerimiah's Sleepy Nite & Mind of J, which were redone,the heart touching dedication to his daughters & mother, as well as his love for his wife with Your the One and Amazing, which took me back to days of Cameo....Funkay!

I told John, it was such a nice ride of instrumentals that I took a test while listening and received an A Thanks brother!

Funkay for sure NormaRae, can't stop singing 'Amazing' ever since I heard it, John and Charlie taking us back to Old School flavour right there
