And a few people talked about Vanity.... very sorry but Vanity couldn't sing at all, apart from being funny, clever, gorgeous and a great dancer.
I have a concert with her and the Time, around '83 (the homecoming I believe), sooooo bad and you can hear it also on the album Vanity 6 but nobody cared and everybody loves Denise, so do I.

Neither could Apples sing, nobody complained either...

And no, I don't know why that is. I only disliked Mani a lot.

i think she should be put as one of the back-up singers along side shelby j and the other two (even though those 3 women can actually sing) but i think it would of been fair

Also i noticed how when prince sang "all this love" at montruex, he did a minor change with one part of the lyrics...instead of bolivian paper doll, he sings pretty little paper doll, i just can't help but wonder why he did that (but then again its actually his song since he wrote it lol)

It's weird though, he let her record an album and distributed it together with his two CD's. This is called promotion, right? He takes her everywhere, brings her along when he's performing but does not allow her to stand anywhere near a microphone. All she gets to do is either sit on a stool or stand in the audience like a complete lemon.

I always thought these pictures from him and her in
the black limousine on drfunkeberry are just too much
photoshopped, it looks so false.

The funny thing is she is actually not ugly and probably not a bad singer; but because everything about her is so carefully edited I can't help but be critical. It's like the more I feel like I am suppose to like her the more I don't.
