THE TRUTH is live tonight! RIGHT NOW (Saturday) - Edited with update

http://www.ustream.tv/channel/st-paul

Paul is broadcasting live from Chicago as the Truth sets up to play a gig tonight. Log in, and stick around. He'll be checking in from time to time, checking the cam angle and sound.

Edit: Paul's site says the gig starts at midnight (not sure if that's central or otherwise). However, the club's site says the gig starts at 10:30 local (Central), which is odd. Because it's 11:30 Central and nothing has started. (They have done a soundcheck though.)

I'm hoping they go on by 11:30 Central, but we'll see. Sound check is over, and the stage is dark. The club is playing some music, and you can hear people. The cam/Paul's computer is stage right near his keyboard (and I think where Eric will be standing). The sound was good during the soundcheck, over the computer.

Second edit: It's 11:30 Central and the show is starting!!

They played an instrumental during sound check called "Sound Check". haha No hint as to their set list tonight, but it's sure to be funky! These are some talented guys.

Show was great. The guys were very cool. Talked, took pictures & signed autographs after show. I fot my Family cd signed by Eric, St. Paul & Jellybean. They said there playing Bunckers tonight. Aslo Mazarati is rehearsing and will be playing out in a few months.

It was fun seeing and talking to folks in the chat. The show really was off the hook.

I made the statement in the chat room that Prince could learn from activities like this. No one is going to record a damn uStream feed and boot it out. Just turn on a camera and let the fans watch and experience something! Paul and the band had no reservations about letting fans watch the show online, LIVE and for free. They tore up those songs too! I still don't know the song that they did as a medley with "Mary Jane". Anyone? It was after Paul's bass solo, but before they went into "No Diggity". It was kind of cool seeing Eric play keyboards too. He just so casually walked over and played that "bangin'on-the-organ" part from "Mutiny", then hit the note on this sax a half second later without missing a beat.

Fun night.

The song you have listed as Funky Good is actually called "Doin' It to Death".
