Tamar will be performing at the Sky Bar on Wednesday, September 16th and Saturday, September 19th. She'll be performing a few songs from her new CD, and a lot of covers.

The Sky Bar is located in the penthouse at 3400 Montrose. Show time is 9:30 Wednesday and 10:00 Saturday.

The Sky Bar is kinda cool. I went there a few months back and was very excited when the band kicked into The Bird.

Mind you, I felt silly dressed in smart jeans and a shirt... there were some sharply dressed fellas there. Think Morris Day in reds and pinks.

Last night's show was great. Tamar played mostly covers - non-stop, up-tempo classic hits. She did "Kiss".

For Saturday night's performance, I have some VIPs from the Houston Livestock Show coming. They are looking at Tamar as a possible entertainer on Black Heritage Day, in the Hide-Out (a huge club next to Reliant Stadium). I know Tamar would be great for that show.

So, if you are in H-Town, it would be great if you could come to Saturday night's show and spread the love. You'll see a fantastic performance, and who knows where it might lead?
