"Don't worry, you'll still be dignified.....it tastes like caviar" Since there was already a thread devoted to Vanity 6's song "Drive Me Wild",I decided to make a thread devoted to "Bite The Beat",another outstanding song from the V6 album. This song is great, with OUTRAGEOUS lyrics...
"When I first saw your teeth,I knew you were the only one qualified...to Bite The Beat, don't try and call your mother, just bite it til you're satisfied" "Bite The Beat,it will do you no harm unless you choke on a guitar string" "Bite The Beat,it's so so yummy,it tastes like caviar" Btw,does anyone know what Brenda means when she says "peanut butter, false alarm"? Seriously,I have no clue what she's referring to...lol...

You know it! The song has a cool pop/New Wave sound.Did you know this song was actually released as a single? I guess the subject matter prevented most radio stations from playing it...lol...

The only song from their album which got any real airplay was "Nasty Girls".The other three singles ("He's So Dull","Drive Me Wild" and "Bite The Beat") bombed, most likely because they didn't sound like a "typical" R&B female group.Radio programmers were afraid of this group!

Duck butter is the discharge from the anus after bareback (unprotected) anal sex. IE: A mixture of faeces and sperm. --------------------

Yeah, that's the point - we were discussing what the reference to peanut butter meant. I don't seriously think they meant duck butter LOL --------------------
