Alright, still looking good!

Anyway, about Love Machine, I really dig the version in the movie, where they use that portable turn table and scratch at the beginning of the first verse. Everytime I listen to GB is miss that part, but I hear it in my head...
What do you mean it's not in the computer?

The "Love Machine" scene was really unfortunate for Jill.First of all, she's not really singing on the song at all. That's Elisa Fiorillo.

Secondly, this scene was supposed to Jill's big moment, where she gets onstage and is finally allowed do her thing. But after the first verse,Aura (Ingrid Chavez) is shown lip-syncing the song with Morris. We don't even see Jill anymore after that!

Just like in 'Purple Rain',she was treated like a meaningless character who doesn't even get a song of her own to perform.

I read that Jill Jones actually sang on the track first but Prince decided to go with Elisa Fiorillo as they got closer to finalizing the track. I'd love to hear the version with her vocals on it. All the boots of this song are with Elisa's vocals.
