Brown Mark??? Does anyone have any idea what he's been doing for the last decade or so? The guy was such a monster bass player. the music knows what your motives are when you are making it

Brownmark had a group called Cryptic Music back in 2001/2002, and they released an album. He was part of the group (opposed to it just being a backing band). He promoted them as a group, not "featuring Brownmark" or anything. I tried to land an interview with him back then for my radio show, but it was a bunch of back and forth with setting a time. He did send me a press kit, and a sampler CD of about 5 or 6 songs, including instrumental versions of those tracks as well. I never did get the album itself.
It's still active in the industry, and always has been I think. I love his debut solo album. I still listen to it. Reminds me of my Navy years (when it came out), along with Wendy & Lisa's album. I think his was kind of underrated as a good ex-Revolution solo album.

I remember that 1st album, I think there were 2 videos that came from it But that first 1/single-video was hot, His bass playing is why I understand Prince wanting him to continue with the band It's interesting When you listen to music by each Revolution member you hear the different sounds from Prince's music
