I don't usually do this, but.... I thought this was kinda funny. I would cut and paste, but that would be pretty wrong....
Anyway, Mayte just posted on her Facebook that she just saw Bria at a salon. Of course many are chiming in, including Mani! Mayte didn't say that they spoke or anything, just that she walked past her and that she is tall. I wonder what Bria was thinking..... Smooches;)

I try not to get too much into this sort of thing either, but I can't resist...
Mani and Mayte are Facebook friends? That surprises me, I guess.

Mani and Mayte are Facebook friends? That surprises me, I guess. I was surprised by this as well, but I guess there really isn't a problem. Sheila E is also friends with them Mani just commented about what Mayte had started...in a joking manner, since so many people are commenting Smooches;)

Mani and Mayte are Facebook friends? That surprises me, I guess. Doesn't surprise me. For however things went down between them with Mani being the alleged jump-off, at the end of the day both of these broads know the true nature of this man and can now probably sit back be happy that they they got out of putting up with him. Besides...on a real, bottom line kind of level, it's good networking for them to bury any hatchets real or perceived, which in turn can translate into good business. Oddly, I'm really not surprised at all. Folks have to move on and let go of things, so there's room for future opportunities to work their way in. A hard pill to swallow on a gut level, but with time and work on one's psyche it's not entirely impossible.

I hope their friendship started this way;
Mani: I am truely sorry. Mayte : You should be!!!! I think it's odd that they contact eachother through facepage and not privately through e-mail. Obviously Mayte is as caught up in the goings on of Prince as any orger is, if she posted on her face page that she saw Bria. She obviously wants her "friends" on facepage to tell her what they know about this woman. I also wonder, seeing that the two are so close in age, if Mayte befriended Mani when Mani first began working in PR. It wouldn't be the first time that one's BFF went after a woman's man. I do not think Prince owes these women anything and I don't feel sorry for them at all. EVERYONE in the world knew Prince was ecentric and unlike anyone else exept MAYBE Michael Jackson. If you want a normal marriage than marry a normal man: it is as simple as that. There is alot of $$$$$ in being P's wife and certainly not alot of backbreaking work!!!

There is no way for the general public to know whether or not they contact each other through mail. That's their private business. As for the rest of it, meh. People speak of these women with such a patriarchal slant, as if we actually know what their daily lives were even remotely like as wives. Using the logic people use here we could just as well say the same thing of Melinda Gates or Candy Spelling or any other woman married to a famous person. It essentially just reinforces the archtype female spouses being worthless pieces of property of the public figure they are married to; it's all rather backwards, really...

It essentially just reinforces the archtype female spouses being worthless pieces of property of the public figure they are married to; it's all rather backwards, really... You started with something that was a bit of my point. Yes Mayte and Mani could and probably have contacted each other privately. So WHY did they go on Facepage and announce that to the world. I just don't think that was a very classy thing to do. My opinion. The rest of your remark I'm am not sure I get so I can't really remark on. When a woman is not famous but the man she will marry is she should see that he is not like most other mortals. I do not know of anyone male or female who is a selfmade great success who works 40 hrs a week. Who doesn't put their work first etc. I am not a women hating woman. I would say the same thing, if you wanted a normal relationship with a man marry a normal woman. Baby Jesus isn't having such a perfect life with Madonna AND will most likely leave someday with a heap more money then he came into the relationship with (just like Mayte and Mani) and doubtfully has a backbreaking job. I do not want to hear sob stories from Madonna's exes. They should have KNOWN she was a very special piece of work when they went into the relationship with her. HOW COULD THEY NOT KNOW AND THE REST OF PLANET EARTH DID. Don't marry Cher, Barbra, Prince, Madonna, etc, etc and then flee because things are not heavenly and think the rest of us poor slobs should feel for you, Mayte and Mani were two lucky bitches. He may have romanced them one moment and ignored them the next and cheated on them to boot;WERE THERE NOT SIGNS OF THIS BEHAVIOR BEFORE THEY TIED THE KNOT? He takes Along time to go from dating a woman to marrying her: I think that's because he wants both the woman and himself to be sure that this is what they want. This type of woman should just stick to great normal guys like mail men and firemen etc. But no,MONEY CALLS!!!!! You want a normal relationship, Marry a normal PERSON.
