i just talked to Denise and she was in the hospital for 2 months. she just got out and is very tired. lets let her have some rest and the book will come when it is time. everyone say a prayer for her... she also said there might be a show coming out with her on it where people can asked her any question they like. but who knows. again... lets let her have a bit of rest and when its time... she will be back.

That still doesn't actually solve people's worry about where their money is. Of course we all wish her well. That goes without saying. But to be truly honest, I think everbody who paid for this book can kiss their money goodbye. From now on, never pay for anything until you see the finished product.

If she was with real company like a major publisher, she could rake up some cash. They would have her doing book tours and all kinds of stuff. But she would have to make the book readable for the masses. And the little bit we did get to see on the website is not for the masses, ihmo.

Add me to the list of people who pre-ordered the book in December 2008. I just sent an email today inquiring about the release date. It would be nice if someone in her camp updated the site with a new ship date as June has come and gone.

i'm surprised that some of ya'll have pre-paid for the book. the book's been on-again-off-again for at least 5 years or so!

I ordered as soon as the info was on the website and at first it didn't say preorder, then she changed it later that day. I would have NEVER paid if I knew it was going to be preorder. I also had paid when the price was $12 more for shipping which she also changed and I had to ask for a refund of the $12 back, since others weren't going to be paying that extra amount. She refunded me but also sent a sarcastic, nasty email to me.

I think Deniece should re-fund everyone's money,be honest and explain that the book isn't ready to be released,and spend some more time getting it prepared for release.Take another year if necessary.Fans are understanding and forgiving,but you have to be honest with them.

I know it's not easy but maybe she should try to find a distributor,go on a book tour and do it right?

I feel so bad, but God has His plans.. When we think it is our hour to present, God sometimes has a different plan..

I understand your fustration, but you heard it from her yourself- she was basically in the hospital for four months straight with eleven surgeries. Also, I don't know how many of you know this but she has to go to Dialysis several times a week on top of the other stuff.

I just had one surgery- a simple one- last month and wound up on the couch for two weeks straight. People have to be able to get up and move around to do things, and she obviously wasn't able to do that beyond daily needs. I, myself, could barely sit up, walk or take a shower without tremedous pain and effort.

She's a minister now, not some b-list celebrity trying to make a fast buck, so try to give her the benefit of the doubt.

I predict you guys will get your books over the next 8 weeks, they will be awesome and it will have been worth the wait.

In teh meantime, as fustrating as it is, try to have some faith in her and send more positive vibes her way because she needs them.

Denise, if you're reading this, I send you healing vibes, care and love from Minneapolis, which misses your awesome smile.

I feel bad that she has had to go through so many health problems, I also have a lot of health issues myself but how does any of that pertain to paying 9+ months in advance for a book that isn't even available to ship. I got the email also and there was no ship date included. I am just fed up with the nonsense and I am no longer even interested in the book and just want a refund. To me this is just wrong and unfair.

I understand she has health problems and was in the hospital, but it's not like she is physically publishing, binding and shipping out the book herself. I'm sure she has an assistant or someone that could help her at the ministry she's involved in. And it's not just been the last few months that she's promised the book. She was trying to sell it over three years ago. Remember when she was calling people personally to get their $200 commitment?

I know she called me back then. What a fool I would have been had I bought it!

We do wish her the best in healing from health problems. Denise is not the only one who is connected with the Lord, and the Lord gave us some kind of instincts. My instincts tell me that there was a much better way, a much more considerate way to deal with this book. And that money is not everything, but when you pay for something, you enter into an agreement of trust. People who have paid for the book trusted that they will receive it when they were told they would receive it.

Now if she really wants to make amends with these disappointed customers, she would refund everyone who paid, and still send them the book. Now THAT would be loving, caring and kind. Give and you shall receive. Receive and give again.

I'm just waiting to see how she handles this whole thing, how many more delays she will come up with, how many more excuses she will use, and if there is a finished product. Most people have pictures of their books. Nothing like that is there. Which means there is no book yet.

I'm just waiting to see what she does next, because that will tell us who she REALLY is.
