Has anyone gotten a refund for payment for the book? I paid in December and it is now almost July, no book, no refund.

When she was on the talk show didn't he have one? Don't hosts usually read the book, watch the movie, listen to the CD before they intervies a person about it?

How do they even know if she finished the book if it wasn't ready for production?

I do know from the fashion industry that a garment would appear in W or Vogue that wasn't available in any of the stores: However promoting a book that's not available on the shelves is just ,Your asking people to get frustrated with you and not give a shit about you anymore.

I went on her website denisematthews.com and she stated that her book is now complete and it took a while as she was in hospital. I purchased the book Tuesday afternoon for the $45.00....I can't wait to get my autographed copy. I didn't pre-order the book, I waited until it was officially stated that the book was complete.

I love non-fiction and I'm sure it will be a very poignant and revealing read.

I still care!!!

I paid Denise $45 bucks back in March, and am still waiting for my book!

I wrote an email a couple of weeks ago asking when I could expect it, but no reply...

I think I had enough of this bullshit now. What she think she's doing? Everybody is scared to say it just in case she really is sick. No body wants to feel bad.And we need to know that this is what people can sometimes use to play on your mind and make you feel guilty. In the meantime, they get away with all kinds of crap.

But what I'm saying is that in fair business, you need to let your PAID customers know where their product is, or stop advertising it. Cause if there's no product, then its FALSE ADVERTISING. This is where the law backs us up.

Now I'm reading she's not even giving people refunds. What the hell? Her reputation really has gone to the dogs on this one.

If the book is undone, that means it's not ready for sale, which means it's not a finished product. You don't go buy a tube of toothpast with no lid on it. It needs to be signed, sealed and DELIVERED. Finished product. Sounds like there is no finished product, which means there is NO BOOK.

Denise, if you or your people read this, you got to know that it is immoral to advertise something that doesn't exist. That's not God's will. It's also wrong to take people's money under false pretenses. That's called stealing, one of the 10 commandments. So come on people. Religious??? Get with the program. If you are not well, then get your church people to sit down, write to your customers with an explaination. Get those refunds done now, and you might just save whats left of your reputation.

I don't think Denise or her buds are coming to this board to read anything. I would have never paid money to pre-order this book. The thing has been scheduled for release for 10 years now! I'm not paying one red cent until I KNOW it's on the book shelves.

Let me just say that I hope Denise is OK, and if she is sick, I hope she is getting all the treatment she needs. After the Michael Jackson thing I really hope she is taking care of her health. I would hate if it was something really serious.

So just in case people don't know, I really hope she is OK. I am always wishing people well and God's blessings, not matter what the situation. It doesn't change what I said before, but I wish her well.

I still haven't heard back and no refund. I am so mad and upset about this. I mean if she is sick I do feel bad for her and wish her well but it doesn;t mean she has the right to keep my money and not deliver the product for 8 months now.
