youre not the only one. a moderator did the same thing to me because i posted a link in prince forum, it was something i overlooked but was trying to have fun. they took the entire post down then implied i had 2 different accounts (which of course, i do not). its really peculiar but its actually made me not even want to come on the site anymore

Moderators dont usually read the post here, so will only lock or snip posts and threads that are REPORTED to them.

I guess if you dont like what your reading, press the handy little link called: report post or thread to a moderator.. If you dont report it they dont know...
One minute they want peace……

Then do everything to make it go away. rolleyes

It's pretty easy to figure out. It's not a personal issue toward you. If they feel a few threads of ANY subject are being repetitive, they'll lock the subsequent ones, and leave the original (which is probably the one, most times, that have more comments/activity).

Seemed like for a while there were a lot of "Bria can't sing live" threads, and a few were locked down. Same with the Birthday threads yesterday and today. Even LotusFlow3r has its own sticky now in lieu of a hundred "What's your tracklist order preference" threads.

It happens. It's not about having YOUR thread (or MINE) have the most responses, it's just jumping on the wagon of what's going on and being part of it, or not be a part of it. Your voice will still be heard, regardless of who starts a thread. peace

^ Except that I do think there are mods that prefer some orgers (and topics) over others and choose what's going to be locked or deleted thereafter. But that's just my suspicion.

That might be a reality, it might not be. I honestly don't know or have a clue or an opinion on it. I've been signed up on the Org for a long while, but only recently started reading regularly and posting regularly. Most mods I've encountered in Org notes or otherwise have been good and even funny with/to me. I can only go on what I have experienced. I think to just go through and shut down a certain Org'rs posts for the hell of it out of spite or disgust or whatever seems a BIT extreme. There's great power to be wielded in the world, I'm sure.
