Monte's solo album is phenomenal, IMO. If you like AJ Croce, or James Taylor, you'll LOVE Monte's album. It's very mellow, piano oriented, he has a high tenor voice, and every single damn song is beautiful and SO well crafted and written. I did an interview with him in 2002, and he's such a nice guy. VERY cordial and great to talk to. He's currently working on his 2nd CD. I had his permission to make a sampler of the songs from This Side Of Paradise, and sent it out to people. I might still have it somewhere if you want it. You can also hear samples on www.CDbaby.com/montemoir . I think he might be on iTunes as well.

DEFINITELY worth the buy.

Ernest is right. Monte's solo album is great. You can listen to 4 of the songs in their entirety on his myspace page http://www.myspace.com/montemoir. He also has a website http://www.montemoir.com/. Those of us that were lucky enuff to go to Vegas got to hear him sing "If you were here tonight" which was one of the highlights of the show. Very Cool guy, I always enjoy hanging out with Monte at the Time shows cool
