Honestly, I think that Nona Gaye was the prettiest woman he's ever been connected to and she's dark skinned. I don't know if this is 100% true or not yes I have noticed certain things as well but also I think Prince lives alot of his life off carmera and the parts that are shown are just that for show he knows what people expect from him as well as vice versa. He did put a very pretty dark skinned girl in his video for Black Sweat and he also has bigger gals around him now as well. I think alot of it has to do with him liking himself and wanting to mirror himself in his lady. I was on a black message board last week and this subject came up. One poster said that Prince is color struck and that he only dates white, light skinned, or latina women. She said that he hasn't dated a dark skinned lady and that Nona Gaye wasn't a real relationship. She also said that Prince told Nona that he would never marry her because of her complexion. Does anyone whether this is true?

Also, on the same message board they said that Prince ordered a veil be put over the face of the girl in the Kiss video because she was a dark skinned black lady. Does anyone whether this is true?

***in the "Black Sweat" video,a dark-skinned woman is featured but Prince spends much of the video making weird faces at her (lol).
