Dale Bozzio - Riot in English

See link: http://lostinthe80s.blogs...glish.html

Anyone know about this one? A co-worker (and fellow fan) brought this one to me yesterday. Very 80's but pretty cool. I don't remember this one being discussed here.

It's a Paisley Park Release by the way with Prince on a song or two.

I'm a fan of "So Strong" one of the two Prince songs, it has the same vibe as other songs of his from this era like "101" "Eternity" "Sticky Wicked" "The Future"
I think this was a vibe he should have explored a little more.

Just the one, 'So Strong'.

'Simon Simon' is a great track, but I don't remember anything else standing out. She was in Missing Persons btw before going solo.

the only song that i can't stand is "he's so typical" her vocals make me cringe on that one
man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

this is so strange i just mentioned this album in a thread i started a few minutes ago. i really like this album. i got it last year and love how quirky, new wave and pop rock it is. my fave tracks are the title track, perfect stranger, he's so typical, simon and so strong. i do not like Giddeup baby be mine. yuk! apart from that song i like the album!! love Dale too!!

I love Dale Bozzio's RIOT IN ENGLISH. It should have been a hit. Great late 80's grooves.
