Actually, after hearing Prince say that he prefers ballads to be sung by females I was thinking that maybe he never meant for Bria to perform live. Possibly her voice was just to be used as a vehicle to deliver these songs to complete the 3 cd set.I know that all of the songs on Elixir are not ballads but maybe this is the case and she will not be performing live. Not sure how this could translate into a career though unless her cds were all packaged with Prince's. This seems more possible to me - that he would continue to have sing his songs in the studio until he feels her voice/ persona no longer reflects what he is trying to acheive - than sending her out to do shows (with or without him).

Don't hold your breath.....that girl and him are more interested in talking than singing. Prince needs to take a longer break and come back with some good stuff....that is inspired from him living for real and not working soooo much. I would like to see him do Here or something with heart the next time he is on a stage.
