Just finished reading it. I must admit, I enjoyed it. She had a very hard life all of her life. She mentions Prince in it, although she doest refer to his success nor does she mention him by name, but it is completely obvious. There is even a picture of him in her book. She refers to him as "older brother."
It is a good read and I recommend it to everyone.

Doubtful. Sounds more like letting readers know it's a book about HER, not her older brother and that she doesn't want to ride his coattails by evoking his name just to sell some books. She certainly has her own story, away from all things Prince.

It's a really great book. Well written, insightful, and the book gives a lot of perspective about Tyka's Mpls childhood/life. I highly recommend it.
