I'm sorry, but as much as I like Prince, I think his being with that girl was wrong. Perhaps I feel this way because I am a woman in her 30's who can't even pathom an interest in obtaining teenage friends, of any sex, platonic or otherwise. What could we possibly have in common?
He was an older, more worldly man, so of course, it was he that controlled the relationship. Fortunatley, the story with him turned out sorta okay...I guess. However,this generally is not a cool situation, i.e. R. Kelly. It is so easy for an older guy to manipulate young girls for their own purposes, and the fact that he is a superstar definitely did not hurt. Also, I can't even imagine what must be wrong with these parents (Anna's nor Mayte's) that they weren't taking any precautions to protect their virginal daughters, sending these underage girls to live with this perceivably over sexed, older man. I can understand your concern but these girls weren't your average 16 year olds. Going to clubs and other things plus I think Prince isn't as over sexed as some think. It sounded very sweet like he was a child in many ways as well. I think for the parents they looked at in a bidness way like if he does do anything we can sue him and she'll be taken care of very well also I'm sure they felt like he would do what he said and take care of them. They have different editions for each country that reflect completely different tastes. ...and they are not nearly as raunchy as the American version. German Playboy for example does not show genetalia, only cute poses of boobs and butts. That Spread Eagle stuff with bodily fluids shown in the American edition is a definite no-no here.
