NPG's fourth album, PEACE

Hello, everyone, long time no see! Hope everything's going fine.

So, if I recall, there were only four songs actually released for the 4th NPG album, 'Peace'. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the songs are:

2045: Radical man
Peace
Gamillah
The daisy chain

Are there any other to be included in the never released NPG album?

Thanks.

I don't think that there has been any inside confirmation on track listing for Peace, but here is an educated guess:

Peace
2045: Radical man
The Daisy Chain
Gamillah
Sadomasochistic Groove
Hypno paradise
Golden parachute
Judas Kiss

Whereas, the High album may have had these tracks:

High
My Medallion
Vavoom
Sex Me, Sex Me Not
Golden Parachute
When Will We Be Paid
Gamillah
Supercute
Underneath The Cream
The Daisy Chain
Silicon
U Make My Sun Shine
When Eye Lay My Hands On U
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

Do you remember the PP moderators on NPGMC always used to get very tetchy whenever anyone asked about the planned "High" album saying it never existed. I think people just liked to talk about early configurations of the album etc but they adamantly refused to acknowledge it (much like they did with the unreleased 7 CD Prince sample set which was advertised on the npgonlineltd site and the Rave In2 the year 2000 DVD).
Just somewhere in the middle,
Not too good and not too bad.

Yes. But prior to the Choc. Invasion and Slaughterhouse web LPs, Peace and High were probable future releases... which never saw the light of day. Prince, the fickle dude that he is, again reconfigured the tracks for the 7 CD Chocolate Invasion release... which never saw the light of day. Some of these songs were actually re-released slightly altered, by the time they made it to the Choc/Slaughter downloads. I don't have the patience or memory to dig up which ones were altered.
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

Yeah. Those forums were something else. I was so excited about that 7-CD set. Maybe it will finally be available on Lotusflow3r.com as silvers.

Rave In2 DVD? I hadn't heard about this. Do tell.

This is probably going to sound a bit freaky. I don't remember the advert being on the DVD when I first got it. But there was a thread on here the other week where someone was asking what song was Prince playing in the background during the "Innerviews" section (you see Prince noodling on the guitar and keys etc). I stuck the DVD in the player in my bedroom, and was clicking on all the sections. The DVD player is not very good so it was glitching, and on one of the sections (it is "peep this" or something) the audio advert from the Sampler set began playing. Not sure if it shows the pictures and text like it did on the old NPGonlineltd ad cos I only got the sound.

Wasn't that an instrumental of 'Last december'?

Hmmm could be. The last thread we had discussing this didn't really reach a conclusion. I'll have to listen again. I remember thinking the chords sounded familiar so you might be right.

No tracklist ever surfaced for the NPG's "Peace" album.

So we can only go on which tracks around that time were credited to
"New Power Generation" rather than "Prince" to separate which tracks
were intended for "Peace" and which one were intended for "High".

Here's the tracks which were attributed to the New Power Generation
and were therefore probably scheduled to appear on "Peace":
Peace
2045: Radical Man
Northside
The Daisy Chain
Gamillah

"Contest Song (Instrumental)" was also credited to the New Power
Generation, but I doubt this was going to be included on "Peace".

Yep, it was the 2nd track on The Daisy Chain single. Northside was also an NPG song that most likely would have been on the album.

Very true. Some of the other songs being speculated for 'Peace' here are Prince 'solo' material. 'Hypnoparadise' for example was recorded after 'Emancipation' and deviates from the funk sound of all NPG albums, particularly 'Peace.'

All the songs slated for 'Peace' during the 2000/2001 period appear to be 'new' recordings with similar sound and production values.

I'm guessing the remainder of these songs have never been released; either to the NPGMC or elsewhere. In fact, this is the type of material I would like to hear through the new 'Lotusflow3r' site: songs from aborted projects or entire aborted albums.

'Madrid 2 Chicago' is another album I'd like to hear, though it was recorded before 'Peace' (circa 1997-98, I believe?).
