It's quite easily the most listened to out of the three disks in the New Power Pak from 1998, which included New Power Soul, and GCS2000. Prince's disk wasn't that great, and probably would have been better as an EP. GCS2000 was just weird and contrived. But Chaka's album stands out as the stronger CD. There are only a couple of ick songs on there, but the rest stands up on their own.

i liked it quite a bit. but i also liked 'gcs2000.' i thought the song 'utopia' was GREAT. actually i listened to both of these more than 'nps.'

I agree,Chaka's CD is the best out of the three.I think it's one of her best solo albums,period.My favorite songs are the title track and "Drama".

'come 2 my house' is my favorite on the album. what a great song!

I love this album. Chaka can get really funky.
