Where's Bria? The lady has a new album out... and she's nowhere to be seen.
Not even with Prince. Could it be that Prince made and album for his girlfriend but they broke up before it's release?

Does anyone really care where she is?

Duh! You don't want to know more about here. We do want to hear and see more. You are free to change your opinion, of course. Thanks. Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

I still have to listen to her album. I like the others 2 much... How beautiful do the words have to B, before they conquer every heart

I was wondering the same thing...I thought I would at least see her on stage or something.
Maybe the speculations were true about her being only a studio artist, or they had a fallout before her album was released. I enjoy her album! I guess sooner or later we'll find out what actually happed...although we never did truly find out what happened with Tamar either. follow me on twitter - Lovenharmony1 aka @DAPfan2c

Prince will lose interest just as he did Tamar, and any other chicky he's got on his hip at the time. The laundry list of women around Prince and gone is huge now. I mean...what was the point of Chelsea Rodgers being around? Who was she and was purpose did she serve? What about Geneva? Are the Twinz still around (I can't stand them personally), etc etc.
PS Overall, I like her CD. They're pretty decent songs. Of course some are stronger than others. [Edited 3/31/09 8:48am]

what a waste of time and CD plastic. Its really sad that there is no one in Prince's circle that can say "Hey, a prince double album nice, triple album with a disc by some nobody = stupid." [Edited 3/31/09 9:00am]

Didn't somebody say that she was standing near them at the soundboard at one of the concerts on Saturday?
Maybe she's not ready to take to the stage yet, it must be pretty daunting when everyone is there for Prince plus there were major sound issues which would be difficult for a less experienced performer to handle. Best of luck to her wherever she is!

I have to keep it 100... Bria's Elixer is the best CD of the 3 if you like jazzy R&B. "Here Eye Come", "Something u already know", "Another boy", "Immersion", and "Elixer" are now on my 5-star list of all-time favorites. With the exception of "Immersion", those are all radio bangers. If she gets the right promotion, she can blow up with this CD. Her looks definitely don't hurt her chances, but the woman can actually sing... very smooth (reminds me a little of Sade).
Elixer grade: A POSITIVITY!!!

I still have to listen to her album. I like the others 2 much... Get to it - it is a good album. Unfirtunately it lloks as if it wont get the attention it deserves even though it is packaged with 2 killer Prince albums, I dont see how she was included in one of the 3 performance son Leno. Tamar got several national TV breaks with prince and she was a bonafide flop.

[Edited 3/31/09 8:48am] Geneva adn Twinz were pretty window dressing and backup dancers and opbviously were never intended to be anything other than that. I loved all 3. Chelsea Rodgers was just a chick he wrote a song about and banged. SHe wasnt an artist.

Elixer grade: A I wouldn't say it's the best but I think it's really good She did a good job vocally I think the lyrics flow good with the songs, whereas on some of Prince's songs the lyrics don't go with the beat/melody like at the biggining of 4ever I think the expectation might be to much for her in the light of Prince So it would be best for her to be seen/heard on backing vocals with Prince and even have her sing back up with Sheila at one of her jam sessions

Elixer grade: A I have to agree. Most of the songs are good songs, and don't have that obvious Prince stamp on them. I wish Prince made music like this for himself. "Elixer" is a bit weird of a song, but the rest are really solid songs. I'm not sure why people are poo pooing it unless they're just tired of Prince proteges and mentally lazy for wanting to hear someone new. There are hints of Sade in there, and some of the music reminds me of early Maxwell.
