Tonight at 8 p.m. EDT/7 Central, The Family will be streaming LIVE from the studio. Eric, Susannah, and Paul will be in the studio LIVE online, adding horns to a new track called "Drummers and Healers" from the forthcoming The Family album, due out this summer.

There is a chat room to interact with the band, and they DO interact. Of course there is sound on the stream, and they answer your questions and talk to you as it happens. It's better to sign up with Ustream.com so you have a chat name in the chat room (instead of a generic one given by the site).

And PS...from the songs I've heard in past chat sessions, I can say the new Family album is going to be right on track w/ the original album, but yet updated. It's a perfect mesh of old and new. Paul and Susannah have really taken the reigns on this and are injecting beautiful songs, great lyrics and melodies. Eric is knockin' the shit outta the horns, and Jellybean is drumming like a MFer. (Jellybean is pretty funny when he's on the chat.) One time Alan Leeds was in the chat room, as was Steve Parke. Wendy (I think?) was once, but I could be wrong on that. You never know who might show up!

Watching it now.
