just wondering..out of all of princes proteges who do you think is the prettiest..for me it is vanity all the way!she is flawlwss and i think had the most talent than all of them

Apollonia is still very beautiful now as well, probably moreso in the face, but the protege side wasn't like Vanity. Plus she was only there for the Purple Reign.
but Vanity whatever age she is is still fine, just as fine as when she was Vanity 6. So I think that says a lot about her beauty, also as a protege, she embodied the persona that Prince wanted represented. She had the looks, she had the sass sexiness and attitude to play it out.

Vanity was alright, but the question is, does she REMEMBER the 1980s? She "giggled" her way through the decade. Does she even remember anything at all?

I vote for Apollonia. If I met her in 1984, we could hold a decent concversation and if I met her today I'd be able to.

If I met Vanity, she'd probably link a bunch of weird syllables together and walk away and if I met her now, she'd try to throw Bibles at me.

Apollonia was always my favorite because she seemed nice and genuine.

Mayte is a close second.

Vanity is at the bottom of the barrel with Paul.

Apollonia was a fill in, she signed a contract to do the movie and album and that was it. She didn't sign on to join Prince's camp. This is why Prince pulled songs like 17 Days, Manic Monday because he knew she wasn't in it for the long hall. So in my opinion she misses the mark as a protege
Jill Jones represented the purple proteges well too...
