Dj Wendy is very funky for a white girl.... so far she played Prince-Sexuality, What Is Hip?, Roy Ayers, Let's Start the Dance, and much more.

I sincerely hope Wendy do this again soon. The only think that I feel she did wrong was she talked over songs at the beginning but as time went by she stop doing it. Wow I have no idea that she did soundcheck for Prince as early as 1981. I had always thought that Prince discovered her playing around 1983? I know though that Wendy joined Lisa on their tour bus back that same year. But I believed Wendy over some third party Prince biographer.

Right, yeah, I forgot to mention that. I was staring at their website this morning but couldn't see the new Bonus Tracks anywhere, when it occured to me to click on the link in the email and voila! There they were!

Diggin the bonus tracks from GB...Madmen Swim Upstream has always been a fave of mine. Glad to hear it crystal clear.

You know, put the bonus tracks from Girl Bros and White Flags together and you have an actual brand new Wendy and Lisa CD!

(I put Carnivàle Main Title Theme, which I bought from CDON.com, on there, because otherwise the track was getting lonely, and it actually works well as an album introduction. )

Madmen Swim Upstream and Viste actually work better on this collection than on the rather dull Friendly Fire collection. They stand out more.

All in all, these bonus tracks make for a great album, and the playing order really works well, right down to the final sound of a pick-up lifting from the end of the record.

So try it. You'll like it. We actually got two new Wendy & lisa albums this winter. I love it!

That's rich that someone would describe the superior "Friendly Fire" album as dull after having heard the snooze-fest that is "White Flags".

I would call White Flags anything BUT dull. Its got a lot going on in those 9 songs. Wendy & Lisa albums have always taken awhile to sink in for me...but this is the one I have dug right from the first listen, and its getting more interesting the more I listen to it.

This album is freaking me out.....
4 listens so far.... I wreckon around 7 will blow my mind.....

God, it took me a while to figure this out. The show is in the archives, but dated February 27th - it was repeated a week after the 20th apparently!

You have to fast-forward to around 10:45 on the first file before Wendy's show starts.

Wow! Wendy is a Doves fan! My favourite band ever. Just... wow!
