I bought it trought amazon last summer and it ain´t bad at all surprisingly, lite pop almost Phill Collins like with hints of MPLS Sound and a lot of musicians from the prince camp and around, including Eric Leeds, Sounds of blackness, Ricky Peterson and part of the steele family. The only bad point is that the sound is to 80´s for nowadays taste...but it is worth a few spins from time to time, specially alaysa.

Bobby Z does do his own version of his song River Run Dry on it. The Family's version is better, though. The whole Bobby Z album suffers from being too inorganic.
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

I have the cd. He can't sing at all to me, and I think that is the reason Prince never had him sing backup on any songs. I thought that was a terrible cd. sorry. And the material was VERY lacking...

Totally agree. As a completist I bought this cd but have only managed to listen
to it once & that was a struggle.Bobby Z will always be held in high regard for
being a Prince bandmember & friend for many years however he should stick to
drumming.I`m surprised this album managed to get through quality control!!
