it's just a coincidence as both are tributes/throwbacks to the old 1920's styles

Alesha is stunning and I'm sure she's very aware of Vanity but I don't think its a deliberate attempt to bite V's cover. They may have borroed the concept from V but they aren't that much alike beyond the standard textbook photography shots. B&W model photos in general lend themselves to that 20s era style.
I see Alesha's still hanging in there post Mis-Teeq. This picture actually reminds me of some of Aishwarya Rai's pictures. [Edited 1/31/09 13:46pm] | |
