Cool, I will watch or tape it! Hopefully, for a change, Barend & Van Dorp will ask intelligent questions and let their guests talk! Also I hope that Hans Dulfer will not get so much time to speak, since the guy is full of shit...In the end, if it wasn't for his daughter, he would never be on TV!

They've usually got quite cool guests but the whole show
is just torture cuz you have to watch and listen to those
two idiots. Not to mention Jan Mulder.

Last week I watched it cuz Terence Trent D'Arby/Sananda
would perform. Only to have my blood boil again when they
kept calling TTD a band and said "Here they are,
Terence Trent Darbies, a wonderful band we already played
when we still had a radioshow".

I hear ya, exactly my thoughts, they are idiots! A couple of weeks ago Frits Barend presented the Manic Street Preachers as the Manic Street Peaches...Embarassing indeed.

I will tape it so I can fastforward through the crap and see the Candy-part!

Well, in the end I did watch the show. Candy and Hans gave
a cool high energy performance. And Candy did talk a bit
about performing with Prince and Maceo.

They also had a very cool pic of Prince and Candy which
looked like a proper promotion pic.

She didn't mention Xenophobia tho. But hey, she was there
with Hans so he had to say something too you know heheh.

Candy: Prince is the new Miles Davis.
Hans: He (Prince) is the best jazz musician alive right now.

She looked HOT!!! I love Candy. What also showed was how much better she plays the sax than her father. Hans is a dickhead, riding on the bandwagon of Candy's success (I can't say that enough). In the end he started making comment on dutch politics, raising his voice, bluntly stating how people should not vote at all in the coming elections! He looked so ridiculous!

The performance was kinda cool, clearly showing how Candy is more talented than her father. They should get rid of that "rapper" who was, for a unknown reason", repeatedly screaming "John Coltrane"...

This is what ticks me off about Hans Dulfer: what the fuck does he know about jazz? I am sure that Prince is a hell of a jazz-musician, but he really does not make a lot of jazz-music.

He wrote some books about jazz, played jazz a lot in the past (now he's more into funk/dance/rock stuff).
He's an arrogant (but quite cool) guy, but he is defiantley an authority on jazz.

If that is the case, that rapper certainly did not pay the hommage that John Coltrane deserves!
