The Belle Of St Mark

I just met a boy and he reimded me of the song....

The Belle of St. Mark was a frail but a passionate creature
(he's not that frail)
Ebony hair and eyes a deep blue-green
(both)
The Belle of St Mark wore clothes that belonged 2 his father
(check,he mostly plays viedo games that belonged to his father, though.)
Even though he was only a mere 17
(he's 19)

but anyway...how fucking great is that song!!!

Hey! I didn't know that Jill sang on the chorus, thought it was just Sheila. Belle of St Mark was her one and only hit song in the UK, reaching number 18 in 1985.

Anyway, love the song. The Linn drum loop and synth lines are fantastic! The lyrics have always successfully evoked the image of a really good-looking, vulnerable dude. But for some reason, I've always imagined him as a young priest in training. confuse
