Anxiety

My favorite non-Prince Paisley Park release, hands down - whether or not it's your cup of tea, you can tell that some love and effort went into this one.

I must modify my postion on Jill Jones. While I don't like her voice at all, the music for Mia Bocca is great (didn't know it was the same music used in UTCM). But her vocals on irritate the shit outta me.

I'm digging the songs on her album but SHE is killing my ears, especially on All Day, All Night disbelief She's shrieking her way through it, P's was so much cooler nod Damn, what I would give for a decent copy of his version!!! :X

And did he not cry when she remade With You?? whofarted

I haven't made it through the entire album yet so I may have to modify again. I hope her version of Baby, You're a Trip is good. I really dig that song. Listening now, it sounds like she followed P's model pretty closely so I'm pretty pleased. Why couldn't she have followed his blueprint for All Day, All Night? neutral That could have been great... disbelief

Where exactly in 'Under the Cherry Moon' is 'Mia Bocca' featured?

I'd have to watch it again to be sure but I think it's Mary's B-Day party when she comes out dressed (in that killer dress! I still want that dress!!). It plays through the scene (Chrissy scoping out other broads, Mrs. Wellington giving her the gift, meeting Christopher, blah blah) until New Position comes in I believe (when Tricky comes around w/ a line of people)...

Thanks, but I'm still a little confused. I'll have to watch it when I go home. When Mary is on the drums, is she singing 'Mia Bocca'?

NO. err On the drums she's singing Planet Rock. She gets off the drums, she & P lock eyes, as she's telling her friends to "keep an eye on him" Mia Bocca (music only) creeps in... Mary gets dressed, comes out, the friends tell her Chrissy & Tricky are "a couple of real pros", Mrs. Wellington gives her the tarot cards, she goes by the water (or whatever), throws the cards, Chrissy catches them, they chat, on & on until the Tricky/New Position thingy...

I THINK! lol
