Who do u think is a better belly-dancer..Mayte or Shakira? Be honest

'mazing question...can't wait to see the answers.

I like them both, but at least from these clips I lean a little bit towards Shakira. Every time I see her dance my hip start shakin' like I wanna start dancing, too...like I have some form of "booty Tourette's " or something

Shakira by far is superior belly dancer to Mayte. Mayte had to learn to belly dance but Shakira got it in her culture and blood. I mean come on...she half latina and half arabic aint she? she don't just belly dance, she hip dance and like omg puts her back into it. I would love to wiggle and jiggle and pump it like that but I might hurt myself Now i do think its cute that Mayte can balance a sword on her head but let her get one of them big baskets of laundry and I might bump her up a notch.

Shakira has more smoothness and is more refined in this art. She also has a larger catalog of dance than does Mayte

Mayte is a more accomplished belly dancer, more traditional. But when she had her own company, dayum; Mayte rocked the house in so many more ways than I ever seen Shakira do.
