Why no duets with former cohorts?

How come former cohorts like Jesse Johnson, Andre Cymone, Dez Dickerson & Morris Day don't have any duets with Prince on any of there solo efforts. Jesse almost threw me off with his Camille style voice in Love Struck. Did those guys really hate Prince after they all went solo?

I think they were trying to establish their own identities. After leaving the Prince camp, they wanted to show the world that they had talent of their own and didn't need to work with Prince.

Technically, "Dance Electric" could be considered a duet with Prince. He did do backgrounds and produced the song (kind of like "A Love Bizarre").

As for the others, I agree with them on NOT working with Prince. They wanted to prove that they were talented in their own right without being associated with him.

Because Prince burns them. Dude has burned a lot of musical bridges. There are people that would probably just rather not deal with Prince.
