I was thinking, was Purple Rain/Apollonia's stint in Apollonia 6 the highlight of her career?

I know she cut a solo album later, and she guest starred on Falcon Crest for multiple episodes, but what else did she do?

Did she ever have a movie (I'm not counting those straight-to-video flicks) or anything of note after her time with Prince?

Is it true that she was mostly famous for being a busty beauty?

She starred in a straight to video flick with Mark Hamill ( Luke Skywalker) called Black Magic Woman.

Is it weird that I have Black Magic Woman on tape? LOL.

I actually like that movie. It's nice to see her wearing something that's NOT lingerie LOL.

1982 :

I remember in the late 80s,she was getting ready to make a movie about L.A. gangs,and she went out in the tough neighborhoods to do "research" for the role.She even tried to buy some weed from a dope dealer,which got her arrested! LOL.

Anybody ever seen the movie? I remember she complained about the 1988 film 'Colors',saying it didn't give an accurate portrayal of that lifestyle.
