"Vanity, I Want To Be Your Bodyguard" was a 1986 electro-rap track by Fabulous Freddie Starr. Does anyone know how well it did on the music charts?

It's clearly about Vanity. I wonder what she thought of it back in the day LOL.

I just heard it the other day and it had me laughing up a storm. The beat is really good, and the lyrics are clever, but a bit silly . I do however give the guy mad props for incorporating the song titles "Nasty Girl", "Pretty Mess" and "Under The Influence" into his lyrics.
