I'm right in the middle of her new album, Brand New Me, and I'm diggin' it. She's like her bro', cuz she's got this undefinable something about her music that makes you wanna listen til you find what you're lookin' for...it's DA BOMB!

She showed up at about 11pm and had a variety of songs in her repertoire. I was disappointed with the sound. I could barely hear her voice. She is also kind of shy and had no stage presence. She said she was wearing purple as it was her father's favorite color (and insisted not her brother's) and blue as it was her mother's favorite color. She also thanked a few people and kept on singing. The crowed was medium to small and people were gradually leaving. I felt bad in her way. We have to give the girl a chance to start somewhere. I hope she learns from yesterday's concert and continues singing.

I hear you but really but you cannot keep blaming the "sound" when her perfomances are bad. That's the same thing someone said before about a performance she did on local TV;they insisted the problem was the sound rather than her singing voice.
I really wish Tyka the best but she cannot sing.

Well said I honestly think she can sing though. I listened to her very first album so she was able to sing at one point. Last night I could hear some good lines too but indeed it was not the entire song. :yep:

I wasn't there but I have got to tell TYKA to NOT GIVE UP. Do as many gigs as possibele and get EXPOSURE. It's a ROUGH thing,but ya gotta do it. GOOD LUCK.
