I was watching under the cherry moon. (This was my first time see the movie, and it was ok I guess, loved the black and white, gave the movie an old feel). Anyways
I watched the videos for under the cherry moon and I watched girls and boys...well, I watched the end during the video,and how Jerome busted out laughing, and they showed everyone walking away, and then I saw Lisa to the left,and I'm like omg she put on a lot of weight! Not that it matters cause it was over 20 years ago, and were all human, but I'm so used to seeing Lisa being so skinny,and then I saw her and I was like whoa. Did anybody else notice this during the videos doing Parade/Under the cherry moon.

She definitely was heavier then than she is now. I wondered about that also but I guess most of us women go through a so-called "fat" phase at one time or another in our lives. Shit, some women never phase out of it.

My questions is why do any of you even care? LOL... Lisa doesnt care about anyone's weight gain or loss here. So why be so concerned with her.

I recall noticing that Lisa looked heavy at the Purple Rain premier party. She got out of a limo with Wendy and I remember thinking "Wow, somebody's been eatin'". That was the first time I noticed she had gained weight.
But as long as she could play those keyboards it didn't matter.

I thought she looked plumper in the video for Girls and Boys. Even in the 1999 video she has a bit of meat on her. She has never been as thin as Wendy but she is prettier than Wendy. Sometimes Lisa wore baggy suits and they make you look larger.

Is it just me or does Wendy look a lot like the actress Jami Gertz (Still Standing, Lost Boys, Crossroads-1986) in those pictures?

I always thought Lisa looked great big or thin.

Yeah, that's what I was referring to Toots! I mean Wendy knows what Lisa's told her AND what Susannah's told her! You know? I only found out recently that Lisa had lived with him and that they were really close, but I've always known or heard that they'd had a 'fling'!
