Rate Andre Cymone's Albums I've had all 3 of his solo albums for a while but never really listened to them much until recently. I think my order goes like this...
1) A.C. 2) Living in the new wave 3) Suvivin in the 80's My fave songs by him are surivin in the 80's, satisfaction, kelly's eyes, dance electric, living in the new wave, ritz club. What do you all think?

1/ Survivin'
2/ Livin' 3/ AC Survivin' In The 80s is my favourite, it's very solid, side A is great (especially M.O.T.F.) but side B is brilliant, I love 'Stay' and 'Don't Let The Future' - It's sequenced very well.

just proved my point that for all the talk about him being on a par musically with P, but when it came down to it the single best song he did was written by Prince!.

I would have to agree with Nouveaudance order for best lp's. Alot of folks seem to think "do me baby" is princes best track although it was written by andre cymone.

I don't have "Surviving The 80s" so I can't rate it. My favorite used to be "AC" but nowadays I like "Living In The New Wave" better. Andy is a four letter word.

If Andre is the guy behind some of Prince's best music, like some of you seem to believe, then tell me this; Why are Andre's albums (especially AC) some of the worst examples of the Minneapolis sound?

1. Survivin in the 80's
2. AC 3. Livin in the New Wave It's a pity he hasn't released more work rather than concentrating on producing - these 3 albums were all cool and he tried hard to not sound like Prince. Maybe he should have done the Prince sound rather than disown it totally until The Dance Electric..... "Grace": "Do you always keep lingerie in your glove box?"
Morris: "None of my women wear gloves"
