I don't think Vanity was over rated. She was dating the Hotest Artist at the time and they were one of the hotest black couples of the eighties. She had her time, just like every other beautiful women has from Sheila E, Apolonia, Lisa Bonet,and Halle Berry. The list goes on... | |

I agree,she has never been super famous.So I dont see how she can be over-rated. Maybe in the prince fan world but not in mainstream music.She's a beautiful lady and she dated a rock ,thats pretty much. | |
