I disagree, really the only difference btwn the two is that Ava had a successful film career and was nominated for oscars a couple times (lost too). Film always garners more attention than stage and vinyl. Other than that there are a lot of similarities, they both had rocky romantic lives with charismatic figures, came from struggling households, got into the biz based on their looks alone and had major health issues. Ava died at 67 from pneumonia after having dealt with lupus plus she had two strokes. Vanity had a heart attack and she suffered from Kidney failure, I think she still does dialysis. I pray Vanity lives much longer than Ava did.  | |
