Spent a very soggy weekend at the Brecon Jazz Festival but worth the wait, Maceo closed on Sunday night with a storming set at the Market Hall.

For those of you who don't know where Brecon is, it's a very small town in Wales, not the easiest to get to from anywhere! But this was the 25th Anniversary of their Jazz Festival and Maceo graced it with his presence for the third time.

The show was packed and we were fortunate enough to be down the front. The show was really great (better than at the indigo2 last October in my opinion), and the atmosphere was amazing.

Really great to see people there who were obviously at the show to appreciate Maceo in his own right. Awesome!!!


PS If you haven't heard of Dennis Rollins, please check him out - he plays trombone and is currently touring with Maceo but also has his own quintet "Bad Bone & Co". He's amazing!!
