Movie Star, who is female on vox? Does anyone know who the female voice on Movie Stair is? It doesn't sound like Susannah - unless she altered her voice for the "part". I always suspected it was Jill Jones. Does anyone know for sure who it is? Thanks. [Edited 8/9/08 0:56am]

I don't know, but I always assumed it was Jill. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

I always thought it was Wendy. The tone of her voice sounds like the tone she had when she goes off on P in "P.R."

Both Wendy and Susannah sound similar but imo it doesn't sound like either of them. It is weird that Prince didn't write who's voice it was in the Crystal Ball liner notes... I'm surprised that no one seems to know...anyone...anyone....?

I always thought so too. But are you certain? Is she credited anywhere with having done the song? Thanks.

(Same voice at end of the long version of Mountains, in the "old couple fighting" campy bit. "Don't you change that channel!") I think you mean the extended version of Kiss. Was Sus credited with the vox on Kiss? I've heard people on here say it was her but I don't remember it being listed in the liner notes anywhere...
