I WAS CRATE DIGGING AT GOLDEN OLDIES HERE IN SEATTLE MONDAY AFTERNOON, WHEN I STUMBLED UPON THE 12" FOR "SHE (I CAN'T RESIST)" BY JESSE JOHNSON. I RECENTLY HEARD THE "LIVE" VERSION FROM THE 12, BUT THERE'S A LONGER VERSION ON THERE THAT'S THE SH*T!!!!!
THIS IS THE THIRD SONG FROM THE SHOCKADELICA LP/CD THAT THE 12" VERSION IS MORE ASS-KICKIN' THAN THE ORIGINAL LP VERSION!!!!! THE FIRST TWO BEING "CRAZAY" AND "BABY LET'S KISS"
THE POWERS THAT BE AT UNIVERSAL PROBABLY DON'T GIVE A SH*T, BUT I THINK IN LIGHT OF THE TIME REUNION & BASED ON THE RECEPTION THAT JESSE'S SOLO SPOT IN THE SHOWS GOT, HIS A&M CATALOG SHOULD BE RE-ISSUED W/ALL THE 12" VERSIONS & THE B-SIDES INCLUDED. BESIDES....THE BEST 12"-ers CAME FROM PRINCE AND JESSE!!!!!

On my most recent vinyl dig,I came across the "Crazay" 12" which includes the B-Side track "Drive Yo Cadillac".I didn't buy it,but I might get it next time if it's still there

i never really dug this song even though i really love jesse music this one song never really turned me on i always skipped it on the cd

btw,"She (I Can't Resist)" is my FAVORITE Jesse Johnson jam That's an amazing groove he came up with! I love the entire 'Shockadelica' album....there's not a bad song in the bunch.
