Linn, u know what P meant on The Time's "We don't like new wave" right? At the end of "onedayI'mgonnabesomebody". Check that part out in reverse whenever u have the chance. I always assumed they were taking a shot at Andre's thing (with his band being called The Wave and their clearly New Wave sound). I don't have a turntable anymore - what's it say? the music knows what your motives are when you are making it

man, not this again.... why dwell on the only negative aspect of the record? Haha...don't trip mansep...Sorry u took it like that...I don't see it as a negative aspect to it all. And neither does Andre. He and I see it as one of the baddest backwards mask ever in funk music. I mean, it ain't Zepp's Stairway To Heaven" but it's spooky sounding as hell. It IS a dig at A.C. because of the reasons u just gave. Notice they say the phrase twice on the album. The last time they say it at the end of "onedayI'm", "We don't like new wave." And then everybody starts to bust up laughing right? When u reverse it from the end of the laughing, then of course, the laughter is the first thing u hear. But NOW that shit doesn't sound anything like laughter. It sounds like goblins and shit.
