Child of the Sun - Mayte Does anyone like this album? I tend to enjoy it. The best tracks in my opinion are "Ain't No Place Like U", "However Much U Want", "Baby Don't Care" and "If I Love U Tonight". Whatchall think?  Now I'm old and feelin' so much betta'. OMG I going to agree with u on ure choice of songs  Baby Don't is on the top of my list as far as that CD goes.....
But let me say Mayte should NEVER sing The Most Beautiful Boy In the World" EVER again!!!!  PRINCE IS WATCHING U  " When an Artist Creates, whatever they create belongs to society"

I  Mayte. The album is pretty shitty tho. She sings like a 12 year old child. I think it's better to close my ears and open my eyes.

now there's a cool song that hardly ever gets any mention. iirc it was first written during the symbol album sessions i think i even have an early version of it. same goes for "rhythm of ur heart" which was even on early configurations of "the gold experience". as a whole album i don't really like listening to it cause her voice grates if you have to listen to it for 45 mins.
but there are some real good songs included on that album  and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |

There are a couple of OK tracks on there, but they're all ruined by Mayte singing on top of it. © Bart Van Hemelen
