nice! kind of a random choice for a reissue, but it's been out of stock so long that it'll be nice seeing it back in stores.

Rhino is reissuing three of her CDs: Romance 1600, Sheila E., and Sex Cymbal. I don't think Glamorous Life is out of print or hard to come by, so there probably was no need to reissue that. It would have been great if these reissues included the great b-sides and extended versions associated with each album, but alas, no.

Great news! I'm gonna pick up 'Romance 1600' (which I've never owned on CD) and 'Sheila E.'Hopefully, this is just the beginning of Paisley Park releases being re-issued.I hope they do the same with Apollonia 6,Mazarati and The Family.

Those other associates CDs were never actually released stateside in the first place. I wonder if that will affect their chances.

Which ones?
All of Sheila's WB stuff was issued in the states. All of the Paisley Park stuff was issued on cd in the states. Some are harder to find than others, but I don't recall any of Prince's associated artists not being released in the States.

Apollonia 6, The Family and Mazarati were never released on CD in the U.S., only on vinyl and cassette. The only official CDs for those three are Japanese imports (The Family was also released at a later date on CD in Germany).

Thanx for clearing that up. I knew all of Sheila's were issued in the states. I could swear that The Family was issued in the states. I remember seeing the longbox cd in Target years ago.

According to Rhino's site, they are also issuing The Time's Pandemonium again. They are calling these items "Encore" cds.

I don't think there is a longbox of the Family CD. I do have both the Japanese and the German versions and they both don't have longboxes confuse. German CDs were never made in longboxes.
With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....
