Who is the least talented person to be in a Prince group We have seen the most talented so whose the least. they must have been in Prince's groups at one stage, no members of Vanity 6 please.
My big four are Wally Safford, Greg Brooks (Baboons that dance) Kirk Johnson (a gameboy) but the winner has to be Tony M, his slipshod rapping killed off the credibility of the New Power generation. 17 Years ago I made a commitment to Prince

I mean he was in The Family because of..... at least jerome has some decent stage presence. he's fun to watch and has a sick sense of humor. i still don't understand the purpose of wally and greg, other than to put a couple of prince's buddies on the purple payroll.

I get that in The Time. I'm talking about Jerome in The Family? It wasn't like he was the "comic foil" to St. Paul's comedic genius? http://www.facebook.com/p...111?ref=ts

The band was pretty much defunct by the time shooting for the movie started. But yes, I'm sure Jerome was always slated to co-star during the film's conception phase. Jerome was also being courted by Hollywood at this time. Prince probably gave him a gig with The Family to keep him jumping ship on Under the Cherry Moon. Plus, I think he just liked Jerome and wanted to put some money in his pocket. ::

[Edited 6/26/08 14:33pm] Um, that's a joke right? Prince once said that Bobby watched him like NO other drummer did. http://www.facebook.com/p...111?ref=ts

Lets see Jerome, sang, he acted, he danced, he gofered, he had a charisma and probably had a very CLOSE relationship with Prince and Mo'is. What did Mayte do, shake her ass and Marry Prince What did Wally and Greg do, dance badly in a tuxedo 17 Years ago I made a commitment to Prince

What did Mayte do, shake her ass and Marry Prince What did Wally and Greg do, dance badly in a tuxedo yep I think Jerome had a very close relationship with p too! to be honest most of Ps females have been fairly talentless. He had a great art for picking good looking women and making something of them when in reality they would never have come to the fore. He has a whole army of talentless people who are now rich and famous because of him. I still find it at odds how the guy can talk about real musicians when it was he who championed the fabricated band. walk with crooked shoes www.myspace/syblepurplelishous

What did Mayte do, shake her ass and Marry Prince What did Wally and Greg do, dance badly in a tuxedo wait wait wait wait WAIT. Did you just say Jerome "SANG"? WHEN AND WHERE DID HE EVER "SING"? and again, when i throw Jerome out here it's JUST in the context of him being in "The Family". I'm a Jerome FAN. I get what he did for the Time and i don't ever want to see them without him on stage. HOWEVER, in the Family there was really NO reason for him to be there. He can't sing. He can't play an instrument. And contrary to Prince throwing him fake writer's credits, he can't write. He can act, IN PRINCE MOVIES. Sorry, outside of the Time he'd have to be the least talented one. http://www.facebook.com/p...111?ref=ts

Least talented? Phillip C
And Bobby Z was a cool drummer. Bobby Z programmed that Linn drum machine on the 24th hr before the "Purple Rain" tour started..(P supposedly gave it to him the day before and said "figure it out").

I would agree with those 4. Totally embarrassing. If there was ever a "jump the shark" moment in Prince's career that was it. the music knows what your motives are when you are making it
