When purchasing my ticket, I was told that I wouldn't be able to bring my camera into the venue. GGD The Flamingo's 'official' policy is no cameras or recording equipment (They play a recording of some corny policy over the sound system before the show). HOWEVER, cameras were all over the place and it seemed like they were not enforcing anything. One woman they brought up onstage during "If the Kid ..." was carrying hers and taking pictures on stage. I think the use of a flash is prohibited though. At the meet & greet, the band was very accommodating with allowing (and posing for) pictures. - JD Thanks-a-bunch for the info!!! I'll have camera in tow! GGD

I'll have camera in tow! GGD FYI. The meet and greet was in a recess right off the casino. Even if you did not have a VIP ticket, you could probably catch them. The Flamingo folks were not running a tight ship. They set up on the side opposite the casino entrance. Enjoy !!! - JD

I went to the 6/24 and 6/25 shows and I have to say, that 1st show had to be one of the best, if not THE best show I have ever been too. I have been to many concerts, seen the Time in many different configurations, but this was truly special. When Jesse did his part, you could see how surprised and appreciative the crowd was. this was truly special....

Sorry I couldn't post this earlier, but here is a picture of the official set list from the first show. This was the copy that was on the stage for Jesse, and the Flamingo crew was kind enough to give it to me:

Ok I just got home about 45 minutes ago and I went to the first three shows, I will be giving a typical long winded Rhastus review of each one later, but first of all I want to talk about Jesse.
I was lucky enuff to go to the sound check before the first show. I was just happy to hear Jesse dropping those killer blues licks, but then they did a run through of Cool and the Skillet. Now my love for the Skillet is well known and I use to have that in my signature on AMP back in the day"I wanna hear the Time play the Skillet" and after 10 years of me bugging them they finally did in 06, but when Jesse went past the typical cut off and just started that mad soloing extended version, my jaw hit the floor, Jellybean actually kidded me about it so I'm not making this shit up. Well guess what, the version in the show was even better and then when he went into his solo shit I lost it, especially Free World. The whole crowd got up for that one and it a b side for God's sake. I mean he ripped everything, Black Cat was off the chain. I was getting Chill's that first show that's for sure. That was the best concert I have ever seen in my entire life, Hands down. and on top of that,he's just a Cool, laid back dude. We did the whole, picture, autograph, hang out a little bit thing and it still doesn't quite seem real Oh and the shows only getting tighter. The third one might have even been better and the only reason I don't put it on top of the first one is the surprise factor. Jesse was doing even more insane stuff on that axe and half the time I was watching Bean make that face when Jesse was soloing, that straight up blues shit he did between the end of Skillet and the beginning of Be your man is the real deal folks

Well, I've got my tickets for seats at table 1A on the last night.
So what's the venue like? Are the VIP seats in front and are they good (unlike the ones at the Rio)?

We were in the first two seats, so my son's arm was resting ON the stage. Morris and Jerome were basically standing over us. The chairs are alittle cramped, but you WILL love it though. - JD

They went from $150 one night to $125 the next morning and finally to $115 when I called a few hours later to purchase them. I don't know what's up with that but I'm ready to partay!!! Now the cherry on top would be if Princey pie showed up. I loved watching him perform with the time in Vegas Memorial Day weekend in '06.
