She released a hit song in 1988 or 1989 called Girlfriend. She wasn't a great singer but she was beautiful. I don't beleive she has had any association with Prince. Maybe this thread should be on Non Prince Music? | |

The funny thing is, a lot of people compare Halle Berry's beauty to Vanity's beauty. Of course Vanity is more beautiful than Berry, but I think the Berry/Pebbles comparison is also an interesting one.
Quick note on Pebbles-following the drama with TLC and her failed marriage to L.A. Reid, she became an Evangelist like Vanity. She has also cut all her ties with the entertainment business. | |

So is she a preacher now or just a regular member of some church? Don't forget her hit "Mercedes Boy" another one of my favorites! Also whomever seen the Sweet 16 show--was she on it too? And I think Pebbles beats Halle's beauty anyday. I never thought Halle was anything special, that's just me.....especially when she didn't have any hair. IMO Vanity had the best face ever in the entertainment business. About Pebbles, she runs women's church groups or something like that. I don't know if she preaches though. | |
