although it leads me to believe that she must still be linked to prince, because NO WAY would p let anyone have pictures, music and videos of his on thier site. it has half of the 3121 album on there! and i thought that she didnt want to be seen as his "protege". also, interesting how the video talked about her "debut album" even though it was never released

It was released, UK..so far based on the sales I seen through Ebay and other sources, Sis is getting paid. I noted that John Lennon also released an album by the same title in the UK only. Welcome to the Land of Milk & Honey.

I hate to be negative, but her music doesn't do much for me. I listened to every track on the site and only two or three had their "moments." Overall, it sounds really dated. It also sounds as though Tamar has not defined her own sound or voice. She tries to do everything, but it doesn't seem to work because her identity does not shine through or even make an appearance for that matter. The songs off of M&H really sound like poor attempts at that En Vogue/early 1990's R&B sound. The songs off the new album sound as if they are trying too hard to be "now," but come off as something R. Kelly might have produced in the late 1990's - early 2000's. Also, at times she tries to do too much with her voice and doesn't seem comfortable with it yet. It sounds like she's still getting to know it.

That said, I truly wish Tamar well and hope that she eventually finds her own voice, defines a sound/style for herself and achieves great success.

Looks like all the Tamar videos are gone, except for the link to "Fury" on Yahoo and iTunes.

No it wasn't. It seems that in Japan it made it to being pressed before being pulled and a number of Japanese albums have turned up on ebay. There are also a couple of promos from different countries that are apparently legit, however the majority of the "promos" that have been sold on ebay are 100% fake and simply cdrs ripped from the Japanese release. As soon as the first person started selling fake promos for $50 each to recoup their outlay for a Jap disc it was inevitable fakes would spring up.
The entire album has even made it to bootleg release on EYE Records' "WOW".
It however was never released to retail in any country.

It maybe an interesting "footnote" if Prince's Black album is the most bootlegged album in history (because he would not release it for years) but he has a catalogue of work that brings in income, concerts etc. He is getting paid. But imagine Tamar, this is her debut, no concerts, no catalogue of work... even if the album wasn't gold standard... at least she could get SOME money for her effort... instead it is being bootlegged, and she doesn't see a dime.
